For training camp 0817-cowboys_beach_day_cops training ain't cheap - TMZ has learned, costs approximately $25,000 Dallas Cowboys to hire a detail of police for the 3-week program.

Oxnard Police Department Commander Andrew Salinas says TMZ, that the tab covers a wide range of police and public safety services - official 6-8 staff on site daily from Monday to Friday... and 12 on weekends.

Salinas said that every day - reaching capacity on weekends... why the crowd of 3,000-12,000 fans camp ranges needed additional officers on Saturday and the Sunday.

They say the charges also include the use of vehicles, as well as a command center mobile (an impressive RV large equipment and radio systems and stuff)... a favorite player.

Training camp wrapped on Thursday - and which tell us that the list of 80-man celebrates his last day with a relaxing stroll to the beach at Mandalay Bay Beach Resort (accompanied by the police).

0817-cowboys_beach_dayWhen they arrived, they tell us that the players met immediately by a group was of fans waiting for autographs - so Tony Romo took one for the team... and offered to sign their things in exchange for privacy a little.
